Rene –  Massage | Exercise Science Specialist

Rene is a nationally certified, licensed massage therapist with 18 years of clinical experience, beginning her career in 2007 at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California, where she specialized in sports massage, injury recovery, and movement-based therapy. In 2015, she earned an Associate Degree in Kinesiology, which led to a scholarship to the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a focus on biomechanics, physiology, and human motivation.

Rene has worked extensively with military personnel and families, pregnancy clients, individuals with acute and chronic injuries, post-surgical recovery, paralysis, prosthetics, professional and recreational athletes, teams, older adults, children, individuals with special needs, corporate professionals, and working-class clients. She has held group exercise and personal training certifications for over three decades and taught exercise at the University of Colorado Boulder for eight years. Her specialties include neuromuscular therapy, fascial and scar tissue work, nerve-related conditions, surgical and injury rehabilitation, range of motion limitations, and joint imbalances. Rene also offers KT taping and sound therapy using tuning forks, and is known for educating clients with personalized corrective exercises and stretching programs. Her experience includes growth-related pain, fascial disorders such as Dupuytren’s and Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, TMJ dysfunction, concussions, vestibular disorders, and chronic headache patterns.

“Everyone Is an Athlete” – Sports Massage 90 Min | 120 Min

Sports-focused massage tailored to your condition, age, and goals. Sessions may include alignment work, trigger point therapy, active or passive stretching, fascial release, deep tissue, or Swedish techniques. Areas of concern are addressed while supporting full-body integration, including the skull, hands, and feet. Sessions may incorporate tools such as trigger guns, RAD rollers, and scraping techniques including Graston or Gua Sha, leaving clients feeling restored, aligned, and resilient.

 

“Condition Specific” Therapeutic Massage - 60 Min| 90 Min

Designed for chronic conditions, growth-related pain in adolescents, post-accident recovery, or surgical rehabilitation. These sessions focus on modalities that support improvement through targeted strengthening, resistive movement, stretching, and fascial manipulation. Specific attention is given to joints, muscle groups, and movement patterns while minimizing compensation and guarding. Techniques may include Feldenkrais-based movement education and MNRI-informed approaches for nerve, reflex, and psychosomatic pain patterns.
